ANAHOLA, ALIOMANU & MOLOA’A
Just a short 13-18 mile drive from the Lihue Airport are the rural beach communities of Anahola, Aliomanu & Moloa’a, located on Kauai’s Northeastern Shore. With a peaceful, Old Hawaii feel, guests who choose this area are treated to stunning sunrises, uncrowded white sand beaches, expansive views of the ocean and a great combination of sun and balmy trade winds.
Anahola Beach Community
Anahola Beach is a local favorite with a long, white sand beach with a stunning backdrop of the Kalalea Mountains, plenty of shade trees and a protected outer reef. Much of the land in and around Anahola is set aside as Hawaiian Homelands, providing housing to residents of Hawaiian ancestry.
Anahola has a general store, fruit stands, and a post office. Just a short drive to the north, is the Na ‘Aina Kai Botanical Garden – a spectacular 240 acre, well-maintained tropical garden and statue park.
Moloa’a Bay
The rural, agricultural valley of Moloaa has a lazy river that feeds into pristine Moloaa Bay. This peaceful, uncrowded white sand beach has great snorkeling, plenty of shade from giant Kamani and Ironwood trees and abundant, thriving tide pools to explore, and a scenic trail that goes along the surrounding bluff.
Aliomanu Estates & Aliomanu Beach Homes
Just north of Anahola there are many gorgeous estate properties and quaint beachfront vacation homes situated along Aliomanu beach.
